I do have a 06 tundra I could sell, but I was going to say the same thing as someone else. Get a fourwheeler. Park it out at the hunting land. I have three old beat up ones. I’m putting one on my dads land and building a little cover for it. Just until the market chills out

What kind is it, and where do you get one? I have the dark grey Tundra, how do they color match?
That is an ARE "Z" Series - purchased from an authorized dealer in Newnan, GA in 2012. Has been installed almost 10 years on my 2012 Tundra (now with less than 80,000 miles). Have been pleased overall but the lift gate gas pistons need to be replaced - will not hold up the lift gate in cold weather but work fine in warm weather.

Color matching was spot on - I gave them the color code from Toyota (Toyota Black 202). I also had them install the top bars during installation. Installed, back in 2012, was about $3,500. No idea what current pricing is like.

A 98 Z71, getting close to 475K on it. I love that truck, it isn't as big as these trucks today. I am able to reach over into it, plus it has been paid off for over 20 years.
miss my 93 z71 granny gears n everything, still know the guy who has it, almost 400k kicking myself about that one.....

As long as you have the flag!!!!!!!!! Need help mounting the gun?

Love it! I was Googling pics of the Toyota-based “technicals” and this was one of many that popped-up. I’m fascinated by the pre-eminence of the Toyota Hi-Lux / Tacoma line around the globe. It’s like the AK-47 or the Browning Hi Power of light trucks haha… :D

…almost forgot, I did get a train-horn for Christmas that will be soon be mounted. A selective tool for those “special” traffic situations haha…

They know what keeps on ticking, just like you see a lot of older mercedes cars. The insides may be junk, but they don't just stop out on "their" roads. It isn't like they can just find a mechanic/spare parts anywhere.

This is true, those older Benzes are tanks. My late father-in-law swore by them.

And, indeed, I appreciate how stalwart Toyotas are, even in the First World haha…

Thinking a moment about popular vehicles, we owned a couple of these over time: the fabled Isuzu Trooper. Had a V6 and a 4-cyllnder - the V6 was definitely the route to go haha.

Back in the day, you passed yourself a LOT in traffic driving one of these.

IIRC, a gentleman in Shelby County ran ITOG, the Isuzu Trooper Owners Guild. Had a lot of interesting info about Troopers and their assorted variants sold in other countries.

Here’s the V6, a 1990 model, doing Christmas tree duty.

The main thing that surprises me is the gas mileage with the 5speed auto and 4.0 v6. It says 18mpg but Im sure I get like 15.
