"Got A Bad Feeling About This"
Have had several customers having issues with their AR cycling. Most have converted from the standard hand guard to a free floating one. Here is the problem no one tells you about, the standard front site and gas block are pin fitted. Most low profile gas blocks are held on with set screws. Set screws do not hold well on a rounded surface. That leads to misalignment of the gas ports, gas leaks and poor cycling. The fix is to dimple the barrel so the head of the set screw has a recess to lock into. This keeps the gas block in proper alignment and provides for proper exchange of gases. I do this work all of the time and so it is no big deal, just drop your upper receiver by and I'll get it done and back to you in no time.
