Any members here members at Brocks Gap range? Been there for several years and wondering how many plan on making the move to St. Clair County.

Yes up around Steele if I remember right. Dues being 475 a year might cull a few out though

Well, I did some long range shooting at the Rifle Ranch in Graham and I'm hooked. When is the move going to happen? Is anyone here a member?

I am/ was. Oct 30th is last day in hoover. To far and to high for me to reup. Range will be built in stages over course of years. Don't think the long range course will be one of the first built.

Will the new one at least be partially open before the Hoover range closes? I suppose I should just contact the membership secretary. I live somewhat between the two locations so there wojld be no change in distance.

I took a tour of the BGTC yesterday. I was impressed.

It's true that the current range in Hoover will shut down at 5:00 pm on 10-31-2024. I can see why--they are surrounded by developments. They hope to be operational at the new range on or about November 1. The address for the new range is 4610 Camp Creek Road, Pell City, AL 35128. I suspect that many things will be in flux during the move.

The Board approved two levels of membership going forward - Legacy members and Regular members. Legacy members will be those who join before 12-31-2024, and they will have a lower annual fee. Regular members will be those who join after 12-31-2024, and their annual fee will be higher than Legacy members.

The new range will include a 40 x 50 range house used for training and meetings plus the following ranges:

• Four 50-yard ranges
• Two 100-yard ranges
• One 300-yard range
• One 600-yard range
• One 1,400-yard range
• 24 action pistol bays
• Shotgun range
• Police ranges
