Anyone have this happen? Called Aimpoint and they said the units Inhave were part of a LE order and bought through a DOD contract so I cannot get these serviced.

I need To get a battery cap off and I tried pliers wrapped with rubber, vinegar, freezing, I guess next is Kroll.

Any ideas or anyone that could cut the cap off?

Maybe a little wd40 on the threads? Might have a corrosion issue with the battery. Did you use lithium batteries?

Try some pb blaster on it then lightly tap on the cap with a small brass hammer to shock the threads. Then you can use plumbers channel locks to turn the cap off.
