Does anyone happen to know of Any FFL’s in or around Tuscaloosa or Birmingham willing to ship a handgun to cal?

Out for a visit and my daughter bought me a handgun for a Christmas present. I spoke to my FFL in California and they have no problem receiving it. I’ve checked with a few shops and so far no fll will ship it. Gun only no mags

I believe you can ship it  yourself, check USPS or UPS. Pretty sure it doesn't have to ship from FFL, only to a FFL.

I believe California only excepts from FFL plus I don’t think UPS FedEx or USPS will allow a non-licensed person to ship a firearm to an FFL

I've used it a few times with good results (it's a service of Bud's Gun Shop and on their account, so technically it's shipping via an FFL). You enter your info, pick a receiving FFL and they email a shipping label to you....then drop it off at a UPS Customer Center (UPS Store not allowed).
