DS Prefix [forged LMT receiver] STG58. 7.62x51 NATO, all matching numbers with Steyr marked barrel. This is a very very nice rifle. I’ve got 5 metal mil spec metric 20 round mags to go with it and a Riton Optics 30mm 3-9x40 scope on it. $1400 and pickup in the Calhoun County area.

It’s actually 7 mil spec mags, and possibly. High end hunting rifles, Benelli/Browning shotguns, IWI stuff. No Gucci Glocks and that sort of thing.

That’s a crazy difference. It is a nice rifle but the cut down barrel was a negative for me so I didn’t pursue it. Hard to believe anyone would come close to paying the $4k they are asking.

Having said that, and I don’t mean this in a negative way, I likely would have made an offer well above $800 if you would have dropped the price to $1k or maybe 1100. Of course each individual situation is different and one never knows.
