New Alabama resident, from Tennessee, recently separated from the Army (SOF).

Many Alabama stereotypes I’ve found to be true, but that’s not a diss. They aren’t all bad

From all main topics, what are your favorite things about Alabama, especially northern Alabama?

Culture, Scenery, Politics, Government, whatever you’ve got!

A few years back, I visited the Little River Canyon area. It was during a time of drought, and the riverbed(s) were almost entirely dry. The landscape was just stunningly beautiful. Of course, there’s a lot of that here, from the north all the way to the Gulf Coast beaches.
