What are some of y'alls favorite rifle and shotguns?

My favorite rifle is my Steyr SSG 69 PII in .308 with a NightForce ATACR 5-25x scope

My favorite shotgun I don't have but want is a Browning Sweet-16. I love 16 ga shotguns and have a Stevens 311 16 ga double and a Revelation marked Stevens 16 ga single barrel.

Also lusting for a Winchester Model 70 Supergrade in 7mm/08
Anything .22LR is a blast on the farm. For big rifles I collect and shoot mill surp, my favs are the Garand followed by the Argentine mauser 1909

Hands down, you get more than you pay for with a Yildiz 12 ga hp over and under it feels so close to a franchi slx that sells for $1800 but it only costs $500 at academy, I don’t for a minute believe it is made to the same quality but it has a two year warranty and feels amazing.

Do yourself a favor with this one

Amen to RedRidge...I bought my Rem mod 700 .270Win new in 1980 at the Patch Barracks Rod and Gun Club in Germany. Since then it has proven itself on everything from varmints to elk. I switched the original plastic-coated stock years ago for a composite with sling swivels and a recoil pad, though you really don't need one for a .270! One flat-shooting, accurate rifle!

I love the Bergara B14 line. I have 2 chambered in .308 and 6.5 creedmor. Nice trigger, smooth bolt, and sub $1000. I plan on purchasing a B14 Timber wood grain .270 this year.

I Have not bought a Bergara yet, but I do have the CVA Cascade in 6.5 creedmoore and it has the bergara barrel. I love my rifle! $569 at walmart I think is what I paid for it. Killed a buck at 263 yrds year before last with no problem.with a Leupold vx3 3.5×10x50 you can see those deer when it gets dark!

Favorite rifle is a competition JP Enterprises JP-15. So smooth and accurate. They have some sort of elven magic when they build those rifles.
