I’ve used them both, and like them both. I’m not sure exactly why but if I had to choose between the 2 I’d probably go with Faxon. Ultimately to me it would come down to the price, what barrel profile, and finish I wanted. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with either one.
Ballistic Advantage does have a recommended barrel break in procedure, it should be on their website.

Thanks I had already got a Ballistics Advantage one by the time i saw this now i'm in a market for a handguard
