Is this software hard for people to learn and make post?

I am wondering if changing the forum software to something simpler if that would allow more people to post.

I too find it easy but I have used so many and been working on forums for years so I want it to be user friendly

Seems ok to me, but I am a computer guy, so most software is 'normal and easy' for me

I don't feel like anything is missing here

I was honestly thinking about swapping the software to PHPBB which is free but is easier to learn and more straight forward. this is the reason I was asking.

I am mostly a Microsoft guy, but also dabble a bit in security
but my 2 cents
If you need paid support, probably stick with Xenforo

If you don't and are looking to save money, there is nothing wrong with PHPBB. Its secure, its stable, and it can most likely do everything you need

but I have never run either myself (never ran a forum) this is just what I hear others say.

would be good to test any changes out now while the load is low ;)

I make make a clone site. It’s not saving money it’s making it user friendly. I want to get it so non tech savvy people can use it also.
