I got this scope on my AR 10.So I just bought an 18 inch upper for my AR from PSA and am planning to put an LVPO on it. I'm looking at the Vortex Viper PST right now but am open to anything else in that price range. Does anybody have any suggestions?
I'm also looking at the same Viper PST gen 2. I would be really interested to know what you think about the brightness of the dot in daylight. It seemed fairly bright in store, but that's indoors.I've heard really good things about the RT-6, common consensus seems to be that's it's the best sub-$500 LVPO on the market. I ended up buying a Viper PST Gen 2 and hope to sight it in this weekend. Went with a LaRue LT104 mount just like in your pic as well.
I just took it outside and took a look. I'd say anywhere from about 7-10 power is good for daylight, plenty bright without burning your retinas outI'm also looking at the same Viper PST gen 2.
