New to the area do I need an AL concealed?

hey all, just moved here on PCS orders from Florida, have my Florida concealed, my questions are.

- Will I have to wait 3 days after a purchase from an FFL or will my Florida concealed allow me to walk out the same day?
- should I get an AL carry permit also?

Alabama does have reciprocity with Florida so as long as your Florida permit is valid you should be good to go. Also unless there's some specific thing for out of state purchasers I'm not aware of any 3-day wait here, just go buy your gun, pass the NICS check, and walk out gun in hand.
