I shoot a 4in Glock barrel and I'm somewhat concerned about not making minor PF.

I just got a hold of an 8lb jug of Titegroup and some Blue Bullets 124Gr Round Nose. I'll be starting my ladder at 3.6gr and seeing what looks about right for COL-around 1.15?

Anybody want to share their recipe or thoughts?

Not Titegroup but with CFE Pistol 4.8 gr (which is 1 tenth lower then Hodgdon's listed starting load) with 124gr Extreme plated RN it make minor out of my Glock 48, doesn't make minor out a 43x and makes somewhere around 134PF out of my 5" Prodigy.

Your load is the starting load listed on the Hodgdon's reloading data center web page.
So you'll need to chrono them to make sure. The listed velocity is way below minor out of a 4" barrel.
Titegroup is a little fast burning to get the best velocities from a 9mm.

I was going for fast burning because if the 4in barrel. How much have you played with COL and how it it affects velocity? Thanks for your input.

I don't think 3.6 of TG will get you to 125pf with 124gr bullets. I'm mostly a Glock shooter now and use 147's but I have some data from 10 years ago when I loaded for a 5" 1911. I'll post below:

124gr Montana Gold 3.5gr TG at 1.125 OAL yielded 954fps and 118PF
124gr Montana Gold 3.9gr TG at 1.125 OAL yielded 1056fps and 131PF
124gr Montana Gold 4.1gr TG at 1.125 OAL yielded 1084fps and 134PF

I hope this helps. I'd start at 4gr of TG if it's within specs.

I loaded 30 round of 9mm, 124gr copper plated, over 4.0gr of Titegroup with a COL of 1.155 and using the UNIS "GINEX" SP primers from Bosnia which made 1073 FPS average for a 5 shots. shots 3 different 5 shot groups and all were around that velocity.
That was using a SA 5" Prodigy. Didn't make Minor out of a Glock 43x (of course it wouldn't). So I'm thinking of dropping the charge to 3.9gr.

Will load some thanksgiving morning and test on Friday.

Shot both 3.8gr and 3.9gr of TG W/ 124gr and although the the 3.9 gr load made minor out of a 5" prodigy it didn't out of a Glock 48. That is with a COL of 1.155 and X-Treme copper plated bullets. Out of my Glock 48 it didn't make minor.
So I will be sticking to my original load of 4.0gr of TG or my current loading of 4.7gr of CFE Pistol.
