I like it. I’ve found myself doing something similar with regard to handguns - not necessarily a one-to-one match, but a similar concept.

Mine is Distance Shooters, only trouble being...the more I read, the more I change my mind on the next Purchase. Had it set on a Ruger Precision 338 Lapua Mag but then fell under "The Quigley Lore", now I've had a Friend call saying he's found a deal on a Military 50 cal Sniper Rifle! Soooooo...now I gotta start reading again (LOL!)...had no intention of buying such a high ticket item, but at this time I don't know enough to even act stupid, Plus I know the Higher the Ticket, the higher the Bling that goes with it. I know me...I'm OBSESSED...I'm SICK-SICK-SICK...Next I'll want a Rocket Launcher...where's the number for that 12-Step Program?...

I have a .22 Ruger precision and a .308 ruger precision. Bought the .22 first and loved the platform so much I got the 308. I love my little .22 bolt gun.

I've got a Howa 1500 (.308) that I've mounted in a chassis, and a Tikka T1X. Still have the Tikka in the factory stock for now, but may wind up getting a KRG Bravo chassis for it.
