Yes. Every now and and then a fella manages to find someone willing to make some deals. I started a little at a time.

When I started .45-70 several years ago I managed to pick up a bunch once fired Hornady brass at the local range. The next thing I know I ended up with a Model 1875 trapdoor and bayonet.

I've gotten a few sets of dies for free/ cheap over the years where I saw an opportunity, funnily enough an expensive gun always seems to show up soon after.
