I prefer a revolver over a pistol. I grew up shooting my dads .357 mag. I have owned several pistols and have enjoyed them, but still prefer my revolvers. I do like my Kimber ultra carry 2 though.

Pistol - revolver? Depends what kind of mood I'm in and if I don't want to pick up brass. have several of both, shoot both, tend to be more accurate with a revolver but not by much. Range toys all anyway.

I'd say have both but I still lean more to revolvers. Glock is close to reliable as a revolver and for example a 19 is as carryable as a snubnose .38 smith, also you can get revolvers in .9mm, .45acp if so desired.

I love my wheel guns. My .45 Colt Redhawk is probably the smoothest shooting revolver I've ever owned. I've got revolvers from WW1 Era up to modern.

I have seen too many revolvers shoot out of battery that I will not mess with them. Granted they were from Drug dudes, Terrorists, and the fat neckbeard (on the internet) that I will not carry one. with how reliable semi autos are now I have divested from them.

Handloading is far more fun for revolvers than semi-autos. There's something about dialing in that perfect load for a .357 or .44 that just doesn't feel the same with 9mm or .45.

However, there is just no replacement for a high-capacity, compact autoloader for practical shooting.

Revolvers are just more fun, semi-autos are just more practical.

I enjoy revolvers, particularly SW K frames - they fit my hands and point so well. During the ammo drought I shot my 38 revolvers a good bit for practice - don't shoot as many rounds and shooting double action really helps my trigger discipline. I also like to hunt with a .44 Mag.

I love revolver’s you can carry one in your pocket anytime and have tons more of uses than auto’s.
Take one fishing or walking in the woods loaded with snake shot and carry rounds. I can kill a snake or raccoon or anything.

I have pistols and revolvers. The revolvers are just more fun and I like the little extra time and attention I spend on loading and unloading rounds. Just picked up a Dan Wesson .357 with 6" and 2 3/4" barrels. Wow! What a blast to shoot.

I like shooting revolvers and there are definitely plenty of self defense calibers that will be sufficient for EDC but, I think the biggest reasons are mag capacity and quick reloads.

I am a fan of S&W N frame revolvers. I currently have a .38 spec., a .357, two .41s, a .44 special and .44 mag. They are fun to shoot. However, I compete with pistols and carry a Glock.

I have several and I love to shoot them. The home defense weapon next to my bed is a blued Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum. The next closest is a nickel-plated Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum. The next closest would be a nickel-plated Smith and Wesson .357 Magnum and then the AK. If they break into my house, I want to make sure their exit isn't pleasurable.

I have a couple. One is a back up. Or really a summer gun when I wanna wear some light weight cloths. But I’m limited to 5 rounds compare to the g19 it’s a little uncomfortable to not have more ammo

A while back I got my wife the Walther CCP M2 in 380, mainly for the light slide, but she hated carrying it. So I got her a little Taurus 38 and she carries it with her everywhere now.
